The unique design of the hull with several chines and lift strakes gives the Widebody the ability to handle a heavy load while quickly getting on plane to reach cruising speeds of up to 50 mph with a full load. It operates well offshore, lifting the bow and stabilizing the craft through rolling swells. The sharper vee - hull offers a softer, smoother ride in short choppy seas. This is a comfortable riding boat for all day cruising. This boat was purposely built for the Navy Seal Team One, located in Coronado CA. It was purchased from them, restored and repowered. The heavy duty Aluminum Jack plate was installed and a 2007 Mercury Verado 300 hp Supercharged 4-stroke outboard was attached. Under the T-top, the helm carries Waterproof rocker switches, engine instruments, compass, hydraulic steering and the electronics package consisting of the ICOM VHF radio, Lowrance GPS/Fishfinder and Furuno 16 mile radar. She's currently configured to carry 6 passengers in fixed seats and more in the bow if needed.
